Founded in 2020, Ocean Dark is a record label and artist collective based in Toronto, Canada. It was brought into existence as a response to the growing rift between an industry that is focused on the status quo and artists that want to breach that barrier.
We at Ocean Dark want to be an outlet for musicians and visual artists, a place where they can exhibit work that is emotional, introspective and cinematic in its core. We hope to curate a group of artists that work in unison to push boundaries within the industry and within themselves. At Ocean Dark, it will always be art over industry.

HEY! I’m ASHE and my music is best described as 'whimsy-filled soundscape' or the sweet spot between nature, space and technology. I was recently based in Toronto, Canada but no more! Now I can usually be found out in rural Ontario due to the pandemic. What a wild time.
Ocean Dark is my brain baby that has been in development for years now. First conceived at a brewery our idea was “take the industry out of the label.” I more or less got sick of the industry and decided to become the thing I hate! Jokes aside I was really just hoping to finally have full creative control over my music and my life… Thus here we are.

Hello! I’m Yasmine and I’m mainly here to make sure the head honcho of ODco doesn’t use the Comic Sans or Papyrus font.
Outside of that primary responsibility, I create visuals and help people build their dreams into authentic, socially viable brands. I’ve had 10 years of experience in the most random of jobs within the Art, Design and Photography industry and I hope to delight your visual senses with some eclectic art here at Ocean Dark.
