Flutter / Pulse by Deadly Custard
Deadly Custard - “I’m really pleased to share with you these two tracks. They both represent a shift in my way of working, leaning into a more ‘real and honest’ sound, I guess you could say, taking joy in the imperfect. Ocean Dark seemed to me to be the perfect fit and I’m glad that they agreed!”

As Direct / Stasis by Misiano
Misiano - “These are 2 songs that are inherently different, yet share similar emotions. As Directed is aggressive and edgy while Stasis is lighter and more melodically
driven; I wanted both to feel really organic and authentic. They’re the product of some really fun synth sessions.”
stressed by notsure
notsure - “The whole album is more or less a tongue-in-cheek metaphor for dealing with stress, but also like, a stress analysis program I use for work. So first track being "run condition" parallels how there are some initial events/conditions that cause stress and it's those conditions that I'd take to begin running/setting up an analysis. The whole album naming convention is equally as nerdy.”

hard time getting to work by ASHE
ASHE - “I wanted to make a song that would feel more timeless than what I’ve been hearing coming out lately. I ran the instruments through external gear to break away from ‘the grid’ and add some unstable variations. Maybe we should all just get along, it’s really that simple.”
Render: Dreamstate by Oliver Wickham
Render: Dreamstate offers up three new tunes from the mind of Oliver Wickham. Bucking the trend of his previous releases that have resided in the progressive and deep house space, he dives into a darker, moodier realm with the sound of techno permeating the sonic atmosphere. source: EDM Identity
Phases by ROBY
ROBY - “The two songs in the Phases EP were written around 8 months apart. I hadn’t even graduated high school by the time I had written Environ. I felt that ASHE’s label Ocean Dark would be a really good fit for these as they're more broody and melancholic.”
Ninsei | Moth by ASHE
ASHE - “Ninsei is a city in the book the Neuromancer and loosely translates to Night City which I feel that the songs mood gives off. It went through several name changes over the last couple years but ‘Ninsei’ felt the most appropriate. I finally wrote Moth after moving to Montreal and decided it would make the perfect bookend to Ninsei.”
notsure - "These songs were inspired primarily from a trip i took over the summer to an orchard in virginia for a weekend. calm, beautiful, and was able to spend a good amount of time being a bit introspective... though the reality and anxieties of Covid were never that far away. I guess it really just felt like this small bit of peace in the larger chaotic world.”
ASHE - “I wrote Nocturne with intentions of breaking out of my own barriers in the industry. It’s a track I wrote that I fully intend to listen to while driving around late at night. It’s the culture and mood of the nightlife. Wintermute is a description of the expanse of winter. The comparison of the season with the cold calculation of the digital world. I wanted to start the imprint off strong with some of my best work, intended purely for release on Ocean Dark.”
