Label head ASHE releases four original tracks in new EP ‘Chrome’.

ASHE returns to Ocean Dark with an impressive collection of four new tracks: Chrome, featuring a gliding bassline, a broken beat, and rich analog leads that set the tone for the EP; Live, Die, a darker, late-night raver that captures the intensity of the underground scene; Apathy, offering a unique interpretation of what drum and bass can be, blending genres and pushing boundaries; and Lovely Still, an emotional instrumental that closes the EP, filled with haunting vocals that seem to grasp at the void, leaving a lasting impression.

Chrome marks ASHE’s 8th release on the label since going independent and is showing no signs of slowing down this waterfall of releases.

ASHE, a Toronto-based artist, crafts a distinctive blend of organic electronic music that merges nature, space & technology. With a passion for both the outdoors & musical innovation, ASHE often draws inspiration from lakeside vistas & serene woodland settings. Creating music for over a decade, ASHE has had several major releases - most notably his EPs 'Melancholia' 'Clairvoyance' & 'Individualism' on deadmau5's infamous label mau5trap & more recently, 'Moment' ft. Midnite Amity on Above & Beyond's Anjunadeep.

In 2020 ASHE launched his imprint Ocean Dark, as an outlet for his music. Uninhibited by what would be considered "status quo music", Ocean Dark strives to enable artists that work in unison to push boundaries within the industry and within themselves.
